I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

“Olive Brown” portrays the angler and the trophy brown both engaged in the art of fishing. When you’re stalking big, hungry brown trout lurking near the undercut banks, tie on a streamer with some olive to imitate a bait fish. You might just get hooked up with a huge trout slamming your streamer. Catching the big browns is challenging, because they like to feed at night. Start stripping to work your fly through the target zone. Bam, tight lines.
History of the Brown Trout in North America:
Fishing for browns has been a popular indulgence throughout history. The brown trout was a European immigrant and now inhabits six continents. The non-native brown trout was transported to America in 1883 and introduced in 1889 to the Madison River in Montana. People often called the trout a “German Brown or Loch Leven Trout,” as brown trout originated in Europe and most were from Germany, Scotland, and England. ARTIST'S BIOGRAPHY Lacey graduated from The University of Montana in Missoula, Montana, with a bachelor of arts degree in art and minors in art history and art criticism. She also earned a bachelor of science degree in K-12 art education from the University of Montana Western in Dillon, Montana. Lacey grew up in the small town of Plains, Montana. She was highly influenced by the outdoors. Lacey and her family enjoyed many outdoor activities: hiking, boating, hunting, and fishing on the Clark Fork River. Lacey's home in Plains is located on the Clark Fork River, and it has been a great place to view wildlife, which is a huge inspiration for her work. Over the years these animals and activities became vivid models for her artistic ideas...
