Description

I have a love for roses that began in childhood. Our mother had a rosebush and I still remember the beauty of that rosebush. These were climbing roses, and they filled that rose bush in the midst of flowers that circled the rosebush. Also along with Moma, we made roses from crepe paper, clothes hanger wire, and paraffin that gave the roses the look of plastic, and this was in during those years. After we had our bouquets completed, I went door to door in our neighborhood selling the bouquets. When I was grown, I was in a neighbor's home, and there in the living room, was a bouquet of our flowers. Joyfully painting for you, family & friends, Rosie Barnett Foshee
